The story is based on an actual event that took place on a bridge during the Bosnian war in 1992. Most of the people showing in the film witnessed the tragedy themselves. The main character, played by the author’s grandfather Mumin Kadirić, was forced to leave his son behind, on that bridge. The son was the author’s uncle Elvis Kadirić. Thirteen young men disappeared on that day. To this day there is no trace of them. The bridge never revealed its secret.
