True love is possible. This is what the Romanian sociology professor Nicolae Dumitru preaches to his students. But how can we reach it? The professor has developed his own theory, based on scientifi c research and on his predictions for the future. However, in his private life, things went often in a diff erent direction and his theory was not always useful. Every failure in his marriages aff ected also the size of his apartment that got smaller and smaller with each divorce. When he fi nally encounterstrue love, his theory seems to come true… until life takes its own course again.
Ileana Stanculescu
Ileana Stanculescu was born in 1976 in Romania. She studied at the film academy Konrad Wolf in Potsdam-Babelsberg, Germany. Her first documentary ‘Podul peste Tisa’ won First Appearance Award at IDFA in 2004 and was screened at over thirty international film festivals. Stanculescu produced award winning documentaries: ‘Akhmeteli 4’ and ‘Village of Socks’.
Artchil Khetagouri
Artchil Khetagouri was born in 1970 in Georgia. He graduated from the Netherlands Film & Television Academy with the short fiction film ‘Heritage’ that won several awards and was broadcast on the Dutch public televisions IKON and Kunstkanaal. ‘Akhmeteli 4’ (2006) was his first feature documentary, awarded the Prix Regards Neufs at the Visions du Reel Int. Film Festival.
