Martina Petrović, Head of CED – MEDIA Office Croatia, will moderate a presentation/discussion, to introduce novelties in the Creative Europe Programme – MEDIA Sub-programme, with a focus on low production capacity countries, as well as discuss the future of the MEDIA Sub-programme. The presentation/discussion will be held at Festival Centre on Friday, 3 March at 17 h.

Croatia has always achieved the best results in the categories of single project development and festivals, but also in the total amounts of funds. Specific characteristics of its territory, i.e. geolocation, limited sources of financing, linguistic barriers and natural collaboration in the sense of co-productions with neighbouring and/or small countries – all these factors delineate a low production capacity country, which are most often, instead of being granted additional points, due to insufficient understanding, not being taken into account and not adequately assessed.
