An experimental short-film in a first-person point of view depicting the clashes of Syrian fighters in the front line.

In the chaos of war, the lines between right and wrong become blurred. This exclusive Go-Pro footage from inside war aims to remind us that, in a territory where the war makes the landscape and the people ephemeral, only the camera can remain alive and only the image of a certain moment can remain eternal.

Heba Khaled

Heba Khaled was born in 1986 in Damascus, Syria. She studied Arabic Literature at the University of Damascus and worked as a radio commentator and freelance journalist for CNN, Al Arabiya and the Reuters agency. In 2014, she started work on her first film, the short documentary People of the Wasteland and moved to Berlin where she assisted director Talal Derki on his film Of Fathers and Sons, awarded at 2018 ZagrebDox.
