The MA in Film and TV Directing – Documentary Film was established in 2008 at the initiative of Nenad Puhovski, at the Academy of Dramatic Art, University of Zagreb, as the first such specialised study in the region. A four-semester study includes student filming practice, project development with mentors (professors and associates) and theoretical courses. This academic year the students are taught by Goran Dević, Igor Bezinović, Tonći Gaćina, Vanja Jambrović, Silvestar Kolbas, Dana Budisavljević and Nebojša Slijepčević. Many exercises made as part of the study grew into films and many students became established filmmakers active in the sphere of film and art. All the interested audience will have a chance to talk to students and teachers in the MA of Documentary Directing and learn more about the study, entrance exam and get answers to all their questions first hand. Recent student works will also be shown at the study presentation.
