Maks Velo, one of the best known Albanian painters, had several exhibitions in major European cities (Paris, Milan, Athens...). He spent twenty years of his life in a communist prison and most of his works were made inside the prison walls. It is a story about human fight for survival, a testimony about the past times which tells us a lot about the future, too.
Ylli Pepo
Ylli Pepo was born in Korcë, Albania in1948. He is a producer, director and reporter of Albanian TV and a professor of audio-visual media at the University of Tirana. He has been a member of the European Center for Family Programs since 1995.
