Locked up in a solitary confinement in a Polish high security prison, without privacy, visitors, or even a window, the 28-year-old inmate Damian is struggling with insanity. His only contact with the outer world are the masked prison guards bringing the daily meal and taking him for a short walk. The surroundings are cold and bleak and are constantly monitored by surveillance cameras. Shower is allowed once a week. Bad Boy High Security Cell gives an intimate look into prison life through video diaries and interviews. His frank and truthful discussion, with himself and with the camera of Janusz Mrozowski, reveals his troubled inner world, his doubts but also his sensitivity and understanding, and with his tattooed arms he holds up a mirror to our society, and to ourselves.
