In this candid, in-depth interview with the late visionary filmed in 1995, Steve Jobs discusses at length his early days, career battles, and vision for the future.

Small portions of the piece were used for a television series at the time, but the vast majority was shelved and for 17 years thought to be lost. Resurfacing, it is being presented in its entirety, providing a fascinating look at Jobs at a particularly interesting moment in his career, two years before he would go on to retake control of Apple.

Robert X. Cringley

Robert X. Cringely is the pen name of both technology journalist Mark Stephens, he is the author of the best-selling book Accidental Empires: How the Boys of Silicon Valley Make Their Millions, Battle Foreign Competition, and Still Can't Get a Date. Stephens has also appeared as Cringely in two documentaries based on his writings: Triumph of the Nerds: The Rise of Accidental Empires (1996) and Nerds 2.0.1: A Brief History of the Internet (1998).

John Gau

John Gau, born in 1940, is UK-based television documentary producer, notably the PBS series Triumph of the Nerds and Nerds 2.0.1.

Paul Sen

Paul Sen has over twenty years experience directing and producing films for TV broadcasters around the world. Starting his career at the BBC, he has made films on a diverse range of subjects including Bollywood, the PC revolution, the social history of Britain and quantum physics.
