''Disclosing Afion'' is a story about young musicians from the band called Afion who are trying to define their relationship with ethnic music, but also to understand the shift in dynamics within the band, their meetings and separations.

Each of the band members has their own story to tell; about their approach to music, art, lifestyle, with a special emphasis on conflicts with the usual thinking pattern which considers ethnic music a closed, strict form. Their personal approach and relative success and involvement go to show that ethnic music is, like any other music, a way of expression and needs not to be presented through recurrent motifs but developed and assimilated.
