Following the traces of Jocky Wilson, one of the greatest dart players of all times, the director explores the forces that have shaped his hometown and its citizens.

Who is Jocky Wilson? Twenty years ago every child in Kircaldy, a blue-collar settlement on the Scottish coast, knew the answer to that question. He was one of the greatest dart players of all times, the 1982 and 1989 world champion. In one word – a hero. Following the traces of the Jocky Wilson myth, the director explores the forces that have shaped his hometown and its citizens. This former epicentre of industry is now home to former workers who are either unemployed or have traded their helmets for call centre headphones. The film won a Golden Dove at DOK Leipzig in 2011.
