'Of Men and War' deals with rehabilitation of veterans with PTSD, while Seidl in his newest documentary presents unusual hobbies people pursue in their own basements.

The International Competition of 11th ZagrebDox presents the French-Swiss film Of Men and War, directed by Laurent Bécue-Renard. In this powerful observational documentary, whose making took five years, we follow the inmates of the Californian institution for Iraq and Afghanistan war veteran re-socialisation. Former soldiers with PTSD openly speak about their fears and war front traumas, facing the feelings of guilt and remorse. The film is the second part of the director’s documentary trilogy Genealogy of Wrath, and it screened in Cannes and at IDFA,  winning the best feature documentary award.
