Still recovering from a surgery, 81-year-old professor from NYC, decides to visit the most demanding festival in the world.

Charlie is an 81-year-old media professor from New York who is recovering from bone marrow cancer and a major open-heart surgery. He decides to go to the Burning Man festival, mentally and physically the most challenging festival in the world in the middle of the Nevada desert.

Jan Beddegenoodts graduated as a journalist in 2009. Afterwards he started focusing on photography and travelling the world. Last year he was raving and protesting in Israel/Palestine which resulted in his first photobook and documentary The Taste Of Freedom. Together with Niel Iwens he finished his second documentary Thank God It’s Friday.
