As a continuation of the successful collaboration with ZagrebDox, Sony in association with AVC presents state-of-the-art equipment and fascinating results that can be attained by using Sony technology in real conditions. The presentation is intended for everyone, especially for film professionals.

Speakers: Sebastian Leske, Silvestar Kolbas, Alen Luštica

This year the leading specialist in 4K products, Sebastian Leske, will present some of the elements in the chain of production and post-production with 4K technology, which is already pushing out the classic HD technology.

In the second part of the presentation, Silvestar Kolbas, cinematographer, director and professor at the Zagreb Academy of Dramatic Art, is sharing his experiences in working with the latest technology, as well as with those intended for less demanding users.

The presentation will introduce the equipment for 4K content production, and all participants will have a chance to try out the following Sony products:

PXW-FS5K A compact 4K camera with exchangeable lenses, which will take you to the world of first-rate film production thanks to its specifications that rival those of the most powerful film camera. Its modular design makes it adjustable to your needs.

PXW-X70 A more affordable 4K camera from the XDCAM series, with all the functions of a first-rate optics professional camcorder. It uses an MPEG-4 codec with 4:2:2 10-bit processing which gives a crystal clear image and great colour depth.

PVM-X300 A professional 30'' 4K LCD monitor (4096x2160) with a built-in Sony Trimaster technology, achieving an outstanding colour range and image quality, which makes this monitor an ideal choice in 4K film production (on the set and in post-production).

PMW-PZ1 A 4K SxS reproductor of different video formats (HD, QFHD, 4K etc.). PZ1 comes with HDMI (1x), 3G/HD-SDI (x4) video inputs, and an RCA output. For easier content browsing, an LCD monitor is built in the device. A USB port makes it possible to copy the data from SxS cards onto an external HDD.
