"The most beautiful thing is to sit in the shade of a tree you didn’t plant,” is the title of the economic segment in the focus of the documentary serial Good Economy. Throughout six episodes – Introduction to Good Economy, Waste, Tourism, Energy, Food and Construction – a series of entrepreneurial stories are presented, questioning the current economic system and answering the question of how to ensure a sustainable, balanced lifestyle of ourselves and the generations to come.

The Tourism episode focuses on the issue of sustainable tourism: does it turn to people rather than profit, bearing in mind the environmental, social, cultural and economic aspects of development? Or is it just a new form of refined consumerism? Does change happen and what does it entail? Although Croatia is a tourist country, a comprehensive study of tourism’s impact on the environment has never been conducted in Croatia. This episode attempts to answer the question “where to is this ship sailing”?
