A Czech dream – a supermarket for a better life! Radio and TV ads, flyers and huge neon signs were inviting Czechs on the opening of a very large store. On May 31, some 4.000 people showed up on a wide, green field where there was a facade, ten-meters-high and 100-meters-wide. The greatest consumerist fraud ever was the work of Remunda and Klusak, who spent their entire scholarship for this provocative and funny story about oncoming capitalist consumerism in the country that is still trying to adapt to it. The film examines its psychological and manipulative power. Many festivals chose their experiment for their selections (Rotterdam, Karlovy Vary, Locarno, London, Cottbus, Tribeca, ...).
