In this short documentary, we meet twenty-year-old Ivan, a student of molecular biology at the Belgrade University. He goes to lectures by cab, he keeps a scalpel in his pocket, nightmares haunt him, and he is paranoid. Ivan is gay and it is obvious. His mother thinks he is a freak. On the top of it all, his nightmares have come true: he has been beaten several times and is now seriously thinking of emigrating to Germany. And yet, in spite of the obviously nationalistic, intolerant and homophobic society, he does not want to conceal his true identity.
