This six-minute documentary is a portrait of the intriguing Don Herbison-Evans, who is fascinated with butterflies. He not only collects them, but he also has a very interesting relation with them. Which of course tells us a lot about him, too. ‘I like sending them straight to paradise,’ says Don, describing the process of dying of this cold-blooded insect who is best left to fall asleep in a refrigerator and thus... go. Besides a passion for butterflies, he has also discovered a passion for dance in his relatively advanced age. Thus, next to numerous sorts of butterflies, one can also find dancing trophies on the walls and shelves of his house. ‘Costumes and the atmosphere of competition give me wings; on a dance-floor, I am like a butterfly!’ says Herbison-Evans.
