Far back in the 1960s, a neighbourhood named Zapruđe was built on the other side of the Sava River. It was then mostly populated by young people. However, this neighbourhood welcomed our time as a settlement of old and disabled people. Still, it hides a few living oases of humanity. One of such informal but still prominent places it definitely the dressmaker Tereza, a woman bearing some remarkable qualities. Aside from being an outstanding dressmaker able to tackle most demanding sartorial tasks, Tereza was forced to adapt to impoverished clients and limit her skills to small repairs of already worn-out garments. However, in addition to her dressmaking, Tereza, being a kind and sensitive person, opened her door to the numerous women from her and other buildings who remained all alone and found a compassionate listener and interlocutor in Tereza.
