Animated documentary about Oliver from Tallin who in his younger years suffered bouts of schizophrenia.

Oliver suffers from schizophrenia. In his life imagination and reality create one world, where it is hard to resist being dragged into the illusion, but even harder to get out of it. Every day he lives with the threat of falling back into psychosis. Living in Space is a mix of documentary and animation.

Katre Haav

Katre Haav (born in Arnstadt, Germany, in 1987) studied Animation Directing at the Estonian Academy of Arts in Tallin. After that she attended the Media Design at Bauhaus-University Weimar. Her previous animation films include: At the Wrong Side (2009), Therapist (2007), On the Leash (2005). Living in Space is her first animated documentary and it is Haav’s MA film thesis at the Bauhaus-University Weimar.
