A story of a girl who went missing in May 1992, when her town of Caparde in Bosnia and Herzegovina was occupied by Serbian military forces.

Mila Janković (Senida Bećirović) is a girl who went missing in May 1992, when her town of Caparde in Bosnia and Herzegovina was occupied by Serbian military forces. Fifty citizens, including her mother Senada (25) and older sister Sanda (3) went missing or were killed. For 16 years everyone thought that 9-month-old Senida lived the same destiny. However, Senida’s story went on. In 1993 baby Senida was placed in the Janković family from Belgrade, the home of Živka and Živan. Raised in a bourgeois, wealthy, orthodox family, Senida got a new name – Mila Janković.
