11th ZagrebDox presented!

With approximately 150 films in 16 programme sections, exciting programme novelties bringing the documentary experience even more intensely to the audience and large number of filmmakers and professionals from across the world, the Festival enters its second decade.

The 11th edition of the International Documentary Film Festival ZagrebDox takes place from 22 February to 1 March at Zagreb’s Cineplexx Kaptol Centre. Festival was presented at the yesterday's press conference by its director Nenad Puhovski and producer Lucija Parać, and Sanja Milinović, Director of the Market Appearance Department at Croatian Telecom – the general sponsor of the festival.

ZagrebDox’s official competition includes International and Regional Competition, while the official programme consists of Biography Dox, Musical Globe, Happy Dox, Controversial Dox, Masters of Dox, State of Affairs, Teens Dox, Factumentaries and ADU Dox. There are also new special programmes Thriller Dox, Middleast and ZagrebDoXXL, as well as two retrospectives of Croatian documentaries as selected by film critic and film researcher Diana Nenadić – Vinko Brešan’s author’s night and a retrospective of Croatian musical documentaries.

Regional Competition will present a large number of Croatian documentaries in the regional competition again this year. ZagrebDox will be their world premiere, said Nenad Puhovski.

The ticket price remains 20 kuna for daily shows and 25 kuna for evening shows. Teen Dox ticket costs 15 kuna and The Best of Fest ticket 35 kuna,

General sponsor of ZagrebDox is a Croatian Telecom. Festival takes place with the support of the City of Zagreb, Croatian Audiovisual Centre and Creative Europe – MEDIA Sub-programme.
