The film documents the stories of the former working class, which has fallen on hard times in the transitional society of contemporary Serbia.

It shows the daily lives of five workers of bankrupt industrial giants, in Zrenjanin – a city that was once one of the most important economic centres of Yugoslavia. This intimate drama, whose aesthetic is imbued by the leisurely pace of Vojvodina, is a new look at the forgotten heroes of the working class. They are still, perhaps without good reason, hoping that the future will bring at least a glimmer of stability, respect for social values and dignity of past times. Every day they battle time, the system and poverty. Their stories are not only those of contemporary Serbian society, but also a wider picture of the modern world.

Unburdened by language, space and national identity, his films present the broad cultural diversity of the Balkans.
