Roaming the vast fields of Altai, a land at the end of the world, a few isolated teenagers search for meaning in their lives. The possible answers to this existential question seem doomed from the outset in a time without utopias. Childhood could provide a refuge, but the games endlessly repeated at the playgrounds have lost their lustre. However, there is still poetry; hidden in words and in images.

Kristina Kuzhakhmetova

Kristina Kuzhakhmetova is a director and a cinematographer born in Kazakhstan. Between 2011-2016 she lived in Arkhangelsk, Russia and studied at the St. Petersburg State University of Culture (SPbGIK).
