Konrad would like to be as tough and ruthless as Tony Montana, and just like Al Pacino he would like to star in Hollywood movies. So far he spends evenings watching "Scarface", every day fighting for his dreams.

‘Life is generally tough and unrewarding, right?’ says 18-year-old bodybuilder Konrad. Despite all his attempts to prove himself, he is overcome by self-doubt. He feels he is a disappointment to everyone – especially his father, whom he has not seen for a long time. This is one of the many intimate moments in the emotionally and visually delicate portrait in which the close-ups capture the contrast between the softness of Konrad’s expression and the firmness of his muscles, which he trains every day. His other passion is acting and he is a big admirer of Al Pacino, so he takes acting classes and sometimes, when he is alone, he tries out Tony Montana’s lines, played by Pacino in Scarface. As his mother and friends try to persuade him to question whether this is what he really wants, Tony searches for liberation in this coming-of-age drama set against the backdrop of an industrial city in Poland.
