ZAGREBDOX 2020 FILM SUBMISSIONS DEADLINE APPROACHING

Only 5 days left to submit your documentary film for ZagrebDox 2020. The deadline for submissions is October 15, 2019.

Directors, producers, distributors and other film authorities are hereby invited to submit documentary films for the 16th International Documentary Film Festival ZagrebDox, taking place in Zagreb from March 15th until March 22nd, 2020.

Submissions can only be made by filling out the online form.

The festival program consists of the Competition Program, Official Program (special thematic programs) and Retrospectives.

The Competition Program consists of International Competition and Regional Competition. The International Competition includes films from all over the world, except those competing in the Regional Competition.

Eligible to compete in the Regional Competition are the films produced or co-produced in one of the following countries: Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Croatia, Italy, Kosovo, Macedonia, Hungary, Serbia, Slovenia and Romania.

Only films released after January 1st of the previous year (2019) can participate in the competition program. Participation in the competition program of ZagrebDox requires the first screening in Croatia (the film must be a Croatian premiere).

The deadline for submissions is October 15th, 2019.

The deadline for films in production is November 15th, 2019. 

(Please note that films in production must be finished no later than January 2020)

There is no submission charge.
