Born in Konjic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 1972. Lejla Dedić lived, studied and worked in London for 20 years. In 1997 she graduated in Media and Society at South Bank University in London. She has over 20 years of experience working in the media sector: production, post-production and broadcasting. She worked in BBC World Service Trust/Media Action that uses media and communications to help reduce poverty and promote human rights in developing countries. Since 2011, Lejla has been given a role of Producer at Al Jazeera Balkans.

Rada Šešić is a festival programmer, film lecturer, critic and film director. Head of the documentary competition at Sarajevo FF and co-head of the Docu Rough Cut Boutique-SFF. On the selection committee of the IDFA official competition. Head of Last Stop Trieste at WEMW. On the selection committee of the DOHA Film Fund.

Lectures and is a mentor at the Master of Film at the Netherlands Film and TV Academy in Amsterdam. Taught South Asian cinema at the University of Amsterdam, Faculty of Media and Culture for eight years. Director of the Eastern Neighbours Film Festival launched in The Hague 13 years ago. Selector of the DOKUart festival in Bjelovar. On the EFA documentary jury. Documentary mentor and consultant at various international workshops/pitching sessions in Europe and Asia. She was a lecturer at the Dutch Institute for Film Education (NIF) and advisor at STIFO, where she evaluated Dutch documentary projects for six years. Member of the board of the Balkan Documentary Center and NETPAC. Lived in India and taught two semesters at the Srishti Institute, Bengaluru. Lectures at the Croatian Film Association’s “Dr. Ante Peterlić” School of Media Culture. As a film critic, she collaborated on the book of Dina Iordanova (UK), as well as on Aitken’s Encyclopaedia of the Documentary Film, writing several parts on Eastern European Documentary authors. She also collaborated on 3 books in India: on directors Bimal Roy, Mani Kaul and Girish Kasaravalli. Regularly publishes her writings on cinema in Dutch publications Skrien and Filmkrant, USA Animation Magazine, Croatian Hrvatski ljetopis and Bosnian Sineast.

Directed several short films in Yugoslavia, a. o. LAM ARABI (1990), was assistant director to Vesna Ljubić’s fiction feature films, in the Netherlands directed four films – Room without a view (1997), Soske (2001), In Whitest Solitude (2002), On the Way to School (2007). Her films were screened at 60 festivals, won awards and are archived by MoMA, New York, and EYE, Amsterdam.

Graduated in History of Art. After a collaboration with the Pinacoteca Agnelli, she started working in festivals and cultural events, such as Turin International Book Festival, Giancarlo del Monaco Company and Almada Theater, which marked the beginning of her professional career in Portugal. Since 2013, she has been collaborating with Apordoc – Portuguese Documentary Association and Doclisboa IFF.

She is the co-founder of Arché, a training program for projects in development, which she organizing until 2018 when she became the coordinator of Nebulae, the industry project of Doclisboa. She is also part of the Doclisboa’s selection committee and a member of the board of directors of the Italian Film Festival in Lisbon.  

Born in 1982, Prague, Czech Republic. She has always been interested in films, having come from a family who worked in the movie industry.
Her experience includes working on the sets of several films, commercials, and TV series. Tereza studied Film Production at the Private Film School in Pisek, Czech Republic, and has been working in the film industry since 2003.

She joined HBO in 2017 as part of the Original Production department. Her main interests include documentaries and documentary series.
Before joining HBO, she spent several years working on independent documentaries, from the development stage until the distribution.
Therefore, her broad experience entails a holistic view of projects and she has plenty of experience as a post-production supervisor, which means she is able to offer comprehensive knowledge of each filmmaking stage. Therefore, her broad experience includes a holistic view of projects, whereas she has many experiences as a post-production supervisor. Vanja Jambrovic graduated in Philosophy and Comparative Literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Zagreb in 2005 and in 2011 she also graduated in Film and Theatre Production from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb.

Since 2009, she has been making films with Restart as a delegate producer. Vanja’s track record includes more than 20 films of all shapes and sizes. Her films have circled the globe, having been screened in competition at IDFA, Hot Docs, Toronto IFF, Visions du Reel, Fid Marseille, Karlovy Vary IFF, Sarajevo FF and hundreds more. Vanja is also a Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program Grantee, for the feature documentary project “Museum of the Revolution” directed by Srđan Keča (2020).

«Srbenka» directed by Nebojša Slijepčević, which she produced has been pre-selected for the EFA Awards in the best documentary category in 2018 and won Doc Allianze Award for the best documentary that same year.

With her projects Vanja participated in several professional workshops such as: EAVE (2015), Producers on the Move (Cannes 2014), Robert Bosch Coproduction Prize Germany Eastern Europe (Berlin, 2013), Berlinale Talent Campus (Berlin, 2013), Emerging Producers 2012 (Jihlava), Sarajevo Talent Campus (Sarajevo, 2012), EURODOC (France 2010) and many more.

As a production company, Restart is focused mostly on documentaries. Restart is a multi-faceted organization, also organizing educational programmes, it runs a distribution label (Restart label) and operates DOKUKINO KIC – a small art house cinema in the centre of Zagreb dedicated to creative documentary.

Vanja also runs the Restart Laboratory – a platform for first time directors, as well as Restart Masterclass – a yearlong programme dedicated to connecting world-class filmmakers with Croatian audiences through a series of interactive lectures.

Since 2020, Vanja teaches a course on documentary production at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb.
