Christine Camdessus launched her production company in 2001: ALEGRIA PRODUCTIONS; among more than 60 creative documentaries: Hammer and Tickle, Pakistan Zindabad, Five Broken Cameras (Oscar Nomination - International Emmy Award 2013), Divided Korea, The Wonderful Kingdom of Papa Alaev, One day in Tehran and Forman versus Forman (Cannes Classics 2019). Christine is chairwoman of Nipkow jury and has been jury member in several international festivals. In June 2018, Christine became managing and artistic director of FIPADOC (international documentary film festival), a festival dedicated fully to documentaries which takes place in Biarritz (France) the last week of January. It brings general public and professionals together for screenings outstanding documentary films. Hosting meetandgreets and premiering new projects, FIPADOC will promote innovation and new talent.
Andrej Korovljev was born in 1970 in Pula. After finishing high school, he went to Zagreb where he studied at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Shipbuilding. Finding that this is not his vocation, he decided to travel to London where he studied film directing at the University of Westminster. In 2000, he returned to Croatia, where he began to work artistically and commercially. The basis of his commercial work is television commercials, and in twenty years of work, Andrej has directed hundreds of them for leading domestic and foreign clients. From the artistic aspect, Andrej has proven himself many times over in the documentary field. His film Years of Rust was awarded and screened at film festivals around the world. He has also been awarded several times for his commercials, music videos and short films. He is a long-time programmer of the short feature film selection at Motovun Film Festival and a member of the Croatian Film Directors Guild. He is a double winner of Porin and Oktavijan awards. His feature-length documentary film Tusta was seen by more than 12,000 viewers in the region and was screened and awarded at numerous festivals. He is currently working on the post-production of the feature-length fiction debut Pula, which was granted funds by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre.
Ivan Ramljak (1974) is a film director and independent curator. From 2013 to 2022, he curated and hosted Short Tuesday, a short film programme at the Tuškanac cinema in Zagreb, and since 2016 he has been the artistic director of Tabor Film Festival. Since spring 2022, he has been working as one of the short film selectors at Rotterdam Film Festival. So far, he has directed nine short films, one medium-length and one feature-length film, mostly documentaries. His films were screened at more than 80 festivals around the world (IFFR, Cinéma du réel, Dok Leipzig, Sarajevo, Dokufest...), where they won a number of awards.
