36 Croatian Documentaries in the 11th ZagrebDox Sections

At the new edition of the festival, starting on Sunday, 22 February, nine Croatian documentaries will have their premieres, six of them in regional competition.

The 11th ZagrebDox programme features 36 documentaries made in Croatian production, including nine premieres. This was announced today at the pre-festival get-together with Croatian filmmakers, jury members and reporters.

The regional competition, as part of Dox events, includes the premieres of six documentaries: Free by Vlatka Vorkapić, Sickby Hrvoje Mabić, I Like That Super Most Best by Eva Kraljević, Spirits Diary by Damir Čučić, Red Lorry, Yellow Lorry by Neven Hitrec and Veruda by Igor Bezinović. Other premiering films are Utopia by Mladen Ćapin (Controversial Dox), Here Comes the Train by Igor Husak (ADU Dox), and Limbo by Davor Kanjir (Factumentaries).

The regional competition screens the documentary The Last 100 by Morana Komljenović, and the Musical Globe features The Lost Button by Renato Tonković, Mario Vukadin and Robert Bubalo. Petar Krelja presents his Storms Always Return Home in Masters of Dox, and the Retrospective of Croatian Musical Documentaries shows his two older titles. A series of Croatian documentaries are also featured in the sections ADU Dox, Factumentaries and Vinko Brešan Author’s Night.
