In this intimate and poignant film, the filmmaker creates an exceptionally nuanced portrait of her young cousin Laetitia. On the eve of her seventeenth birthday, Laetitia, a charismatic high-school student, whose everyday life is shaped by seduction, appearances, and her own carefully controlled image, navigates between her attachment disorder and her flagrant need for love. In a world where image control is absolute, Love Me tells the story of the quest for the love with a capital L, through the various forms of self-representation.
