International Jury

Goran Dević was born in Sisak in 1971. He graduated in Film and TV Directing from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb, where he currently works as assistant professor in the Film and TV Directing BA and MA programs. He is the author of award-winning documentary films, which screened in different programs at ZagrebDox: The Steel Mill Café (2017), 65+ (2016), Two Furnaces for Udarnik Josip Trojko (2012), Don Juan: Excuse Me, Miss (2010), The Flood (2010), Happy Land (2009), Three (2008), I Have Nothing Nice to Say to You (2005), Imported Crows (2004) and others. In 2018, he directed two documentaries: On the Water and In the Name of the Republic of Croatia. Film The Blacks (2009), which he codirected with Zvonimir Jurić, was his feature film debut.

Petra Seliškar (b. 1978 in Ljubljana) is a filmmaker, producer, lecturer and festival art director and programmer living in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and Skopje, Macedonia. She studied documentary directing at the Amsterdam Film Academy. Petra holds an MA degree in Media Studies from the Sheffield Hallam University in UK. She made three feature length documentaries (The Grandmothers of Revolution, Mother Europe, My World Is Upside Down) and produced many more, all of which had extensive festival tours, won international awards and were sold to European broadcasters. In 2003, she founded Petra Pan Film. In April 2010, Petra Seliškar was appointed Artistic Director and Programmer of the Makedox Creative Documentary Film Festival in Macedonia, one of the unique creative documentary festivals in the region, which she has developed into an important creative meeting place of the international non-fiction industry. She is a member of the Balkan Documentary Distribution Network, MOVING DOX, a member of the European Film Academy, as well as a national correspondent for EDN. She works as advisor and tutor and has served on many international festival juries and selection committees. She has been an active part of the European film festival landscape. Her company Petra Pan Film has produced and co-produced over 20 feature length documentaries and fiction and documentary series in the last 17 years, receiving numerous international awards.

Anna Kryvenko is a video and fine art photography artist. She is a graduate of the Centre for Audiovisual Studies at FAMU (CZ). Previously, she studied theatre directing at KNUTKT (UKR) and alternative theatre directing at DAMU (CZ). Her films and performances were screened at Fluidum Festival, Ji.hlava Documentary Film Festival, Intermedia BB, Visions du Reél, etc. She participated in several group exhibitions. With her found-footage film Silently Like a Comet she won the award for Best Experimental Act at FAMUFEST (CZ). Her film Listen to the Horizon won the award for Best Czech Experimental Documentary at Ji.hlava IDFF (CZ). Her feature debut My Unknown Soldier premiered at DOK Leipzig (DE) and Ji.hlava IDFF (CZ).
