Four years ago ten-year-old Yaren lost her mother. This summer she nervously leaves for a special kind of camp, a grieving camp in Belgium. Here, all the kids have lost someone close to them and over five intense days, they all bond over that one thing they all have in common: the grief. This is also the beginning of a special friendship between Yaren and Kato, who lost her father five years ago. Their conversations show their struggle with universal questions like: Is a dead person still somewhere? Yet, the atmosphere in the camp is far from mournful, and the children learn that fun can coexist with sadness. A film about loss, healing and friendship.
